1. Well, $1 Trillion for the mineral wars in the middle east was a bad one.

I favor domestic speding over military / war spending. The only practical way to get ourselves out of this Republican mess is to build our way out of it. Infrastructure, roads, green energy, and so on.

It is the republican ideal to destroy enough government so that all social welfare programs are extinguished, and all that remains is the military, and the printing of money. De-regulation = De-Criminalization, and cutting government = cutting services while increasing white collar crime and reducing prosecutions.

Hell yes, give to the states.

2. Agreed
I was amused at the caller who thought government employees were overpaid when compared with the private sector. How a family of four survives on $65,000 a year and saves is hard to fathom.

4. Ahhhh............WhereTF are ALL of these trillions coming from that 'we' don't have?
I don't think it is a good idea for BO to start his presidency by adding SEVERAL MORE TRILLION to the national debt in his first month. I know one thing; 'we' can't spend our way out of this depression with $$$$$$$ 'we' don't have. The problem is and has been the selling off and selling out of America, its workers and its business to the filthy criminals on wall street and the crooked corporate executives and their elitist obscenely wealthy investors; do something about this band of scoundrels and that will put US on the road to recovery. Without it we are economically doomed.

5. that's what printing presses are for . . .
of course, at some point our currency will be worth so little that we'll be pushing bushels of it around in wheelbarrows just to go food shopping or fill up the tank . . .

(I think I still have some German postage stamps with face values of millions of marks from that country's days of hyper-inflation) . . .

8. Why not? If they don't get it they can always stop paying their federal taxes.
Tell Washington to fuck off and collect their own money. Of course the RED welfare states in the South would be screwed, since they take in WAY more than they pay out.
