Elizabeth Edwards is a great example for not only women
but anyone with a serious disease. I was not surprised that the campaign is going forward because I think she has decided to live her life fully. If strength of character and strength of will means anything in these things, she certainly has both and they will help her through this.

1. Yes, but it doesn't bode well for women to take hormones in their 40s
to give birth to two more children.

We will never know for sure, but all those hormone ingestions could not have been healthy.

Hindsight is 20-20 but they still had their lovely daughter.

To each his/her own but it makes no sense to me why she pumped herself up with hormones to give birth twice in her forties.

Still, she's very gracious and thoughtful.

I wish her the best and hope that she has many healthy and happy years ahead. :applause: :hi:

2. I had a close friend who developed breat cancer in her 30's.
At the time she had a toddler. She was treated and the cancer went into remission. She decided to have a second child. The doctors warned her ie. hormones and her friends warned her. But she was determined to have that kid and she did.The cancer returned and she passed away 3 years after her second child was born. I look back now and wonder if she had a sense about what was going to happen in her life and if she wanted those two children so that they would have eachother. Elizabeth very likely had her reasons especially in light of the earlier loss of her son. I'm not judging her, I'm just going to pray for her and wish her well.

3. Well put!
"I'm not judging her, I'm just going to pray for her and wish her well."

Amen. Hindsight is always 20-20. We never know what we would personally do in their situation.

Thank you. :hi:
