than we do in our Senate.

Only 16% of U.S. Senators are women. Italy's Parliament has 17%, and Rwanda's and Burundi's more than that.

Today, Italy has the lowest percentage of working women in Europe. Only 2 percent of top management positions are held by women — that's even behind Kuwait — and only 17 percent of the members of parliament are women — less than in Rwanda and Burundi.

Pakistan had a woman PM years ago. A country much under the sway of Islam - and not all of it moderate.

We do still have a ways to go.
