The ever so subtle pro-Israeli propaganda continues...
Edited on Sat Jan-03-09 07:47 PM by Postman
On CNN, the typed description in the box at the bottom of the screen -

"Israeli Troops in Gaza"

Oh really? Are they there for the beaches and nightlife? Did they just suddenly materialize out of thin air in Gaza or is it too descriptive and provacative to type "Israeli Troops Invade Gaza"?

If Syrian Troops were to invade Israel would CNN describe it as "Syrian Troops In Gaza"?

5. Actually, they've been very balanced in their coverage thusfar

Asking tough questions, standing up to propaganda, inviting guests to speak who otherwise have no outlets, and running CNNI since the incursion. All in all I'd say CNN is redeeming itself for many previous missteps.

4. Not the worst I've seen.
I think the message is sent with that title.

Of course, it requires putting 2 and 2 together.

6. Under International law, Gaza is under Occupation and Israeli actions are war crimes
Hard to imagine, but Israel is under legal obligation to meet the welfare needs of GAZA and the West Bank.

7. as far as I know under some kind of law
you're not supposed to fire rockets randomly into civilian areas.

For eight years...no consequences?
