Ed Schultz gone from Los Angeles/San Diego Raido
Edited on Sat Jan-03-09 10:29 PM by itsrobert
"Starting Monday, liberal morning host Ed Schultz will be gone, and the KGIL weekday lineup will feature conservative hosts Laura Ingraham (6-9 a.m.), Glenn Beck (9 a.m.-noon), Monica Crowley (noon-3 p.m.), Michael Savage (3-5 p.m.) and Lars Larson (5-7 p.m.). Only Alan Colmes, airing from 7 to 10 p.m., will offer a left-of-center perspective."

AM 540 and AM 1260.

EDIT: It's unclear if 540 San Diego will drop Ed Schultz because Glen Beck is on 760 San Diego. 540 may or may not be keeping Ed Schultz. 540 and 1260 almost always broadcast the same programs.

Yup, return the media ownership limit to 7 tv stations, 7 radio stations and 7 newspapers.

5. L.A. is Hartmann's territory
I can't imagine KTLK in LA would pickup Ed and drop Thom Hartmann. I sure as hell hope not.

Hartmann seems to be coastal and Big Ed has more of a prescense in the interior.

I've heard Ed interview Harry Reid several times. He's softball city with the questions. The Harry Reid types won't do Hartmann's show becuz Thom won't agree to having subjects off the table.

Big Ed is 1,000 times better than any wingnut rightie but I much prefer Thom.
