Whatever we think (and I'd love to see Harry out as ML) dem senators support Harry Reid. There won't be a challenge to his leadership. Are all dem senators really so content with his leadership? Do they just not want to appear fractured?

And let's face it: There is nothing we can do about the leadership in the Senate and House but vote reps and Senators out. And I really doubt leadership issues will ever be a compelling issue to voters.

3. Barbara Boxer would be great.
This whole issue is frustrating. Hopefully, the Obama administration will be able to just "run over" the milquetoast Congressional leadership. The Carter and Clinton administrations were harmed by power fights with Congress. That is why we ended up with "synfuels" instead of a real energy policy by 1980.
