1. I like Edwards a lot myself

Out of our current crop he's got my vote, but not by much; I like Obama too and I'm warming up a little to Clinton (although I still have problems with her). Assuming Gore or Captain America don't enter the race I am leaning towards Edwards.

He's dead right now, which I admit is a bit of a drawback. But if he's alive sometime before the election, I think he'd be a great candidate.

5. One of the subs

For one of the AA regular hosts (I forget which one, it was on sometime between 11 and 1 on a Friday night a couple of weeks ago) was going on and on about how it had to be Clinton or Obama, how we were all ignorant, stupid fools for supporting anyone else in the primary, because only Clinton and Obama supposedly have enough money to be competitive. This guy (he had some sort of northern accent) went on and on about how money matters now more than ever, etc., etc., etc.

I'm shocked (not really) at how much this has become "conventional wisdom". Maybe this is true of republican primaries, but it does not have to be true in ours. It's the spring before the election year! There's still time for a credible candidate such as Edwards or Richardson to raise enough money--and I think that, whoever the nominee is, the also-rans will give much from whatever they have left over from the primary, even if they are not on the ticket.

I had bad radio news today. Dennis Miller's show is going to be on during the hours that Stephanie Miller's show was on 970am Portland, OR.

I don't know if she's going to be on a different time of not.

Sounds like a stupid move to me.

Anybody listening to John Loftus on NOVA M Phoenix at 5pm Western Daylight time? He's pretty interesting. I've heard him on with (Mae) Brussels sprout Dave Emory. Used to be a DOJ investigator I think.

Anyway, I'll roll with the blows...
