George H. W. Bush: I’d like to see Jeb elected president
Edited on Sun Jan-04-09 12:04 PM by Phred42

Why this? Why now?

Because 20% of Americans still approve of Bush, and, Jeb is waiting in the wings. These Nazi bastards must be stopped - now.

How the Bush family made its fortune from the Nazis

The Dutch Connection

How a famous American family made its fortune from the Nazis

For the Bush family, it is a lingering nightmare. For their Nazi clients, the Dutch connection was the mother of all money laundering schemes. From 1945 until 1949, one of the lengthiest and, it now appears, most futile interrogations of a Nazi war crimes suspect began in the American Zone of Occupied Germany. Multibillionaire steel magnate Fritz Thyssen-the man whose steel combine was the cold heart of the Nazi war machine-talked and talked and talked to a joint US-UK interrogation team. For four long years, successive teams of inquisitors tried to break Thyssen's simple claim to possess neither foreign bank accounts nor interests in foreign corporations, no assets that might lead to the missing billions in assets of the Third Reich. The inquisitors failed utterly....

George H. W. Bush: I’d like to see Jeb elected president
http://thinkprogress.org/2009/01/04/hwbush-jeb-president/

This morning on Fox News Sunday, host Chris Wallace asked former President George H.W. Bush about the possibility of his son, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, running for Senate. The former president expressed his hope that Jeb would run and then told Wallace that he’d ultimately like to see Jeb elected president:

WALLACE: In terms of public service and ability to help the country, you’d like to see run ?

H. W. BUSH: I’d like to see him run, I’d like to see him be president someday, or maybe senator, whatever.

In an apparent reference to the current President Bush’s unpopularity, H. W. Bush then joked, “I mean, right now is probably a bad time. We’ve had enough Bushs in there.” Watch it:

2. Yeah? Well, I'd like to see your whole rotten family in prison
for treason.

Yes, treason.

This isn't a monarchy and the Bush family attempts to make it one have so far been a failure.

I think future historians might count us lucky we got Stupid instead of "the smarter one."

Stupid has destroyed the family brand. The old man is just too entitled to see it.

4. Two Bush Presidencies were bad enough...
The absolute last thing on God's Green Earth we need is a third Bush Presidency. I don't think the world would survive a third Bush in office.

7. And That Quote By GHWB Will Set In Motion Over The Next 4 to 8 Years.....
a most contentious partisan battle - launched by the Repugs to undermine in every way the Obama presidency and make the Dems look bad. I'm not saying that they will be successful - but if GHWB says it - the party will act on it.

Look at the upside - we won't have to deal with Sarah Palin.

12. So true! She had a hard time settling for 2nd slot this time!
"A Palin-McCain administration." Early in the campaign she slipped & said that.

Yeah, Palin has a huge ego & an even bigger appetite for attention.

8. Dear GHWB: You were a shitty president, Wee Cowboy was a shitty
president, and JEB! was a shitty governor.

What makes you think that JEB! would be a good president? Have you LOOKED at the public service track record of that fucked up family of yours?

Have you seen what happened with JEB!'s kids? Do you think JEB! did a good job THERE?

(rhetorical question btw, dumbass!)
