I just heard back from Andy Hurst who works on the campaign. Send money directly to the campaign. She talked Edwards out of dropping out. I think you can indicate "DU" somewhere on the donation.

7. I'm a little confused by the title of this post

It makes her look greedy although I do understand your intent is to lend support. Couldn't you edit the title to something like

"Elizabeth Edwards Appreciates Support for Campaign"

And I can't think of a lovelier woman to be in the White House!

I think this attitude shows she's going to beat this, and she's going to be around for a long time so she can live in the White House and do her part to undo all the damage from the previous (mis)administration.

I'm not convinced of the benignity of such a request. I'm not comfortable in having an expression of support for Elizabeth Edwards in her struggle with cancer associated with support for her husband's presidential campaign.

it's a little too slick of an appeal which doesn't address my concerns about blurring support for her struggle with cancer with support for his campaign.

I think it's a mistake to politicize her ordeal by urging expressions of support go to her husband's presidential bid.

21. As I just posted elsewhere...I suspect Elizabeth wants her time left on this Earth to mean something

She and John share concern for our society and the people who are being cut out.

"Character counts" is that hackneyed GOP phrase...John and Elizabeth truly show what that really means.

I knew immediately that I would donate to the campaign, after months of sitting on the fence. It's a vote of confidence for Elizabeth during her battle and for hope for the future!!
