I watched Bolton on The Daily Show the other night, and I can't help but still be amazed at the complete ease with which they lie. Same thing with Delay on Hardball yesterday. I mean, Chris Matthews read a few sentences verbatim from Delay's book, and Delay denied it said that!!!

I mean, the level of lying - when what they are lying about is in black and white and on video (Cheney's "the insurgency is in the last throes" for example) - is truly astonishing.

They must all plug in to the same source at night to recharge and get their talking points pounded into them.

Honestly, they are more and more looking like and acting like The Borg. Geesh.

I've never watched Harry Smith, but his intolerance of the BS was refreshing in this clip. Good for him!

13. After six years, I'm still astonished by their pathological lying.

And probably even more astonished that their followers still believe. In particular, one of my wingnut neighbors who would believe DeLay, rather than Tweety as he was reading verbatim. Must be a pretty easy way for them to go through life - never doubting, never questioning.

Last night on Scarborough Pat Buchanan kept using "misinformation," while the woman from Salon and some guy named Meko (Neko?) kept muttering "lying." And the guy from Media Matters blasted that prick Terry Holt over the "Al Gore said he invented the Internet" crap. I'm hearing "lies" and "lying" and practically cheering at my TV (sad!). The "lying liars" are being called out, and I'm hoping more than just the choir is tuning in.
