This was in reaction to the Republican congressman saying that Baghdad was in control at least as much as American cities, which of course is ridiculous. So Cafferty says "Well, I don't think suicide bombers are running around blowing up American cities".....

and Wolf Blitzer answers "THANK GOD FOR THAT!"



No understanding of sarcasm or subtlety. Blitzer is the most vapid, empty head on television today.

That line plays well with rural folks who don't get out much. I have met quite a few rural folks who rarely go to cities and who view taking a trip to an urban areas as taking their lives in their hands.
