Boy I bet Arlen Specter is in a pickle right now. He'll be the deciding vote on EFCA....

If he votes for it (again), he will face another far-right primary challenge from the likes of loonbag club for growther Pat Toomey. However his chances of winning the general election (if he were to make it) are much higher.

On the other hand, if he votes against it, he'd probably survive any primary by Toomey but his chances of winning the general election become significantly lower.

Which way will Snarlin' Arlen vote??

4. He was the only Republican who broke away to vote for it last year. I doubt anyone will change their

mind. And I don't see any of the newly elected Dems joining a Repug Roadblock.

2. Spector has the support of Labor.

Labor backed Spector even against the Democrat in his last election. If he can guarantee their support once more he will vote for EFCA and will be pretty safe in both primary and general elections.
