RW moralizer Dennis Prager marries for third time
against advice, apparently...

http://dennisprager.townhall.com/blog/g/31339180-9159-4c0a-8d92-243cb34ef475

Many people advised me against marrying again. After all, they argued, I had no plans to have more children. And we live in a society that hardly demands marriage, let alone the remarriage of middle aged individuals. More than a few men additionally argued that I would come to value my “freedom.”

To be honest, I understood these arguments, but I believe that marriage is the greatest of all social institutions; I happen to agree with God who said in Genesis, “It is not good for man to be alone.”

I wonder whether people advised him not to get married because of his attitudes expressed in this column, written hilariously one week before he got married:

http://dennisprager.townhall.com/columnists/DennisPrager/2008/12/23/when_a_woman_isnt_in_the_mood_part_i

It is an axiom of contemporary marital life that if a wife is not in the mood, she need not have sex with her husband. Here are some arguments why a woman who loves her husband might want to rethink this axiom.

First, women need to recognize how a man understands a wife's refusal to have sex with him: A husband knows that his wife loves him first and foremost by her willingness to give her body to him. This is rarely the case for women. Few women know their husband loves them because he gives her his body (the idea sounds almost funny). This is, therefore, usually a revelation to a woman. Many women think men's natures are similar to theirs, and this is so different from a woman's nature, that few women know this about men unless told about it.

This is a major reason many husbands clam up. A man whose wife frequently denies him sex will first be hurt, then sad, then angry, then quiet. And most men will never tell their wives why they have become quiet and distant. They are afraid to tell their wives. They are often made to feel ashamed of their male sexual nature, and they are humiliated (indeed emasculated) by feeling that they are reduced to having to beg for sex.

God I hope she denies him sex. Maybe he will be quiet.

8. What I wanna know is what woman was
dumb enough to even consider marrying him, let alone actually do it???

What about if the woman is going through menopause, or is ill, or has had surgery, or any number of medical reasons why she might not want to have sex at a certain time? What a selfish man to demand it of her then.

And what about when the husband doesn't feel like having sex? I suppose that's more than okay in this idiot's book, just not the other way around. Sexist misogynistic jerk.

2. I have always said that until right wing fundamentalist jerk-offs start
stoning adulterers to death they should shut the hell up about gay marriage and the like. These guys are laughably and wildly inconsistent when it comes to morality in general and their personal morality.

7. Usually, if a man is denied sex with his wife, it's probably due to a failure of communication.
Something is broken, and it's not going to get fixed with access to sex. A relationship is hard work, but that's human nature. If you want sex-on-demand, get a prostitute.

13. Dennis believes marriage is "the most sacred of all human institutions"
something you do only three times, maybe four, in your lifetime.

16. Unless this is a spoof
what's the point of posting the above picture?

The woman in question probably thinks she looks beautiful. To that guy, maybe she is. Is she not supposed to wear the white dress and veil because she doesn't fit your standard of "beauty"?

I'd love to get a look IRL (and without Photoshopping) of some of the "hotties" that can't wait to bash others' appearance on this site. I'll bet they're not all that "hawt".

"You better never deny me, woman, because if you do, I'll feel all EMASCULATED 'n' junk!"

15. Dennis - I have a question for you.
If you believe that marriage is, oh how did you put it, "the greatest of all social institutions" then why did you get divorced from your first two wives?
