SF Chron reveals cop's name in Oscar Grant killing - Johannes Mehserle

Mehserle became a father sometime within a day or so of his taking the life of Oscar Grant, execution style (Grant was face down), when he was detaining him.

Mehserle, 27, still has not spoken to ANY investigators or officials about the killing, and is on leave from the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) Police Department.

I'm fucking sick of the demonization of any group. And frankly, that includes straight people.

3. one thing's for sure, much physical abuse is given by cops to people diff than themselves

and that includes treatment towards GLBTers.

But I can't infer anything of value from that video clip.

Homicide is a very serious charge; serious enough to warrant giving the presumed defendant same shake I'd give to anyone else. NO, I'm NOT a "cop-lover" --- far from it! But I'm not going to "convict" ANYONE by that sort of video clip.

the other cops didn't draw their weapons, just him. wonder what was going through his mind. wow... he killed someone regardless, so sad.
