I've always named my septic tanks after Republicans
There aren't many septic tanks here in Florida, but when I lived up north, I always had a plaque right on top of my septic tank cover.

My first plaque held the inscription "This Septic Tank Is Dedicated To The Presidency Of Ronald Reagan."

In 1994, when Nixon died, I changed the plaque to read: "The Richard Nixon Memorial Septic Tank."

I have since moved to Florida and, given the absence of a septic tank, I've named my toilets (along with appropriate plaques). I have one dedicated to W., and one dedicated to Cheney. And yes, I've had guests who were outraged. I have a printed map showing them the way to the nearest service station with a public toilet. Further, I don't respond to their outrage with hostility. I am always amiable in the truest Liberal sense of the word. After all, if you gotta' go, you gotta' go.

Friends have taken my cue and dedicated their various toilets to Rove, Rumsfeld, Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, etc.

With Obama in the White House, it looks like we're going to have to name our plumbing after Senatorial pricks like McConnell, Cornan, Shelby, and, one which I'm sure will be greatly popular, Lieberman.

5. Now, now, let's be polite here.
I've merely named physical locations after those who can't expect to have many sites named for them.

6. Yes, I know it's a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

4. I am totally going to name my septic tank AND the mound. I had friend who had a photo
of someone -- Bush Sr? Reagan? -- taped into the toilet bowl. You drain all the water, dry off the porcelain, then tape a photo down with clear tape. You have to replace it every once in awhile, but you know, how awesome.

7. We had a roll of TP with Bush pictures on it. I used to put it in the guest bath when
my Repub brother came to visit.

Unfortunately, it burned up when our house burned down last year. We did have some fun with it, though.

14. LOL. Hubby is a shrink and the first thing they asked was whether
any of his patients should be suspected of arson. Sadly, we probably were responsible ourselves
as we think the fire started from a barbecue (charcoal kind), even though it was 36 hours after
we'd had the barbecue.

9. When I was a kid
back in the days of Eisenhower, I fell in a septic tank. We were always having trouble with ours and one time when it was open in the back yard I got daring and slipped. I remember my dad being totally pissed at me and spraying me off with a garden hose. Sorry this post is sort of off message.

11. Nah, it's not off message at all. Anytime there's a Republican in the
White House, we're always up to our necks in shit. (Although it must be said that Ike was the last somewhat decent Republican to inhabit the WH.)
