1. Lots of peoples'... at least his VP has voted for the balanced budget amendment in the past.

Nice of Obama to say that.

If the tax money is going to America, and put back into America, that's fine. But for bailout to companies that won't give a damn (never mind being grateful), they shouldn't get a single penny. That is a legitimate conflict of interest.


Odd how the commenters are blaming the Dems of the last 2 years, as if the 28 years previous to that don't count. :eyes: Heck, Clinton balanced the budget despite the fuck-ups from the two previous Republican presidents and not a peep is mentioned.

(And as much as I'd cite proof I'm not for labeling, citing the two things about Nixon that were good and going back to the Eisenhower era are way too tangential, and neither of them were responsible for fucking up the federal budget anyway.)
