2. He's saying the call from Domenici gave him an "awful" feeling.
He had a "sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach." Iglecias wasn't going to prosecute a Democrat in New Mexico and Domenici was very displeased. Hung up on him when he said he wasn't going to prosecute.

Tweety said the interchange sounded very "creepy." Iglecias said in 20 years as a prosecutor he could count on one hand the number of times somebody hung up on him. That time was one of them.

Iglecias said he was put in a terrible position from Domenici's call. He was being pressured to talk about confidential matters. HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE.

Saying all his evaluations said he was "doing great", then on Dec. 7th he got the call that he was fired. It simply stunned him.

Commonality between those fired: they were in the top tiered in terms of evaluations, and were in the Southwest section of the country.

He doesn't want to sue the government just wants a retraction from the Justice Dept.

6. Really makes you wonder about
the other 80 some USA's that were willing to carry bushie's poisoned water. Toadies and bootlickers I'm inclined to believe who are willing to bend if not outright break the law for the boy king.

7. A huge, but largely unknown, reason why we MUST take back the executive,
in addition to increasing our majorities in the House and Senate. Republics are unable to rule without totally corrupting this government.

3. They were getting convictions, and plenty of Democrats
were brought down by Iglesias' team, plenty of grist for the mill, but he still got canned. Said he is still a Republican, though.

(His firing is likely over his non-pursuit of prosecution of so-called voter fraud cases after investigating and finding nothing like "fraud". The GOP wanted the issue raised because they wanted to stir the pot over illegals voting and get some new voter registration laws passed.)

5. Thank you
Hm, this adds another dimension to the whole situation for me. I didn't realize he HAD prosecuted Democrats.
