1. George Bush is a symptom; it's capitalism that's the incoherent disaster

4. That is the founding condition of ALL capitalism
Edited on Fri Jan-09-09 09:23 AM by alcibiades_mystery
Profits appear as if magically through the extraction of surplus value: if your labor costs are, in total, less than your (total) revenue (which is a condition of all profit), one wonders where the revenue comes from, since total income cannot account for total revenue. It can only come from two places: debt and deficit spending by the State, or hoarded wealth, both of which amount to the same thing, a deferral of the crisis on to the future. It is the "contradiction" at the heart of the world system.

3. We just need a little more "trickling"...
Nothing that a huge taxcut wouldn't fix. Also, we can privatize Social Security and get a much better return on our money. Unfortunately, we haven't felt the initial trickle down yet. We need more of Reaganomics, not less. :sarcasm:

our country just happened to be the biggest target.

king george is just a good servant of the lords of capitalism.

(Not to mention that he is a grotesquely corrupt bag of pus with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.)
