The word "tacky"doesn't hold much meaning in our current society.
It's because tacky has become the norm. We have become a tasteless society. Our pResident for the last 8 years is tacky. Our pasttimes are tacky. Our so called culture is tacky. Bent on nothing but making money, everything about America is tacky.

2. Why of course it does. This is the era of tacky.
Or to paraphrase Malvina: "It's all made out of ticky-tacky and it all looks just the same."

4. That was the point of the bush pResidency. But tacky is no longer fun.
In the past, no one really gave anyone too much trouble for being tacky. Those pink Flamingos? Good fun.

They no longer make pink flamingos; it stopped during bush's residency. When conservative morans made tackiness the way of running our country, it was no longer fun.

5. oh hell -- tacky is to be ACHIEVED
One program my son was fascinated with on G4 is called HURL. People compete and gorge themselves on huge amounts of food, and the winner is the one who does NOT vomit.

:wow:

6. I'll admit to tacky
I have three painted concrete flamingos in my front yard for fun.
My husband got a pig hunting with his bow and I processed most of it into italian sausage yesterday. Right now
I have the ribs in my back yard and am photographing vultures. Good tacky fun.
Luckily I don't live in a neighborhood. LOL.

7. Wailin' Palin has rendered the term obsolete.
We need to come up with something more descriptive.
