Had he been granted the appropriate power, he would have hung Rove & Cheney out to dry.
Wouldn't that have been something?

He's said he's 3 months away from a full indictment of Blagojevich but went public with all the tapes when Obama's seat became vacant.
He allowed Bushco to stonewall the Plame investigation instead of getting their asses in there and under oath and charging them with contempt and obstruction of justice if they refused.
He's a don't-rock-the-boat kinda guy, fine for going against ordinary criminals but piss poor at taking on the truly powerful unless there are political points to be made for the GOP.

Who do you trust to provide accurate information to be able to do the analysis?

13. I voted other because I don't what to make of him quite honestly. |

He gave Rove multiple opportunities to correct his statements regarding the Plame case to avoid charges. Why? He also seemed to kind of shy away from aggressively pursuing Cheney when it was becoming obvious he was the one behind Plame's outing. At least it seemed that way to me.
Then I was kind of shocked when he went off on a nationally televised rant against Blago. Wouldn't that be considered poisoning the jury pool? Also why did he rush an arrest and press conference? Why didn't he wait until Blago actually made a deal to sell the seat? He could have gotten 2 birds with one stone if he had.
These things make me suspicious of him. I hope I am misguided in this but I can't help but wonder if he has an agenda.

18. A question for The Magistrate!!---Sir, if you please, |
|
what is your opinion of Patrick Fitzgerald? I suspect you may know more of the behind-the-scenes organizational constraints on how a US Attorney tries to prosecute a government figure.
Please enlighten us, sir!
Thank you. --THB
