If the Merry-Go-Round is making you dizzy, jump the fuck off.
Why do we only have two parties?

1. Because nobody takes other parties seriously and if they opt to,
they vote for self-important nit-wits like Jesse Ventura, who help to re-affirm that third parties are full of "mushroom fertilizer".

2. If yyou don't like the "self-important nit-wits" you could run against them.
Certainly you could the make the party be taken seriously.

If you don't like the party, you can make up your own and call it what you want like the "Lets Keep People Working in Industry and Production in Our Country and Work for REAL Single Payor Universal Health Care REAL Change Party" or something like that.

3. Damn
For a minute I thought you were advocating suicide - life makes me dizzy and I just don't think jumping off is a rational alternative.

I like to try to improve things that matter to me rather than give up.

5. because we vote for our fantasies..
not our realities. And some of us have some really fucked up fantasies, and have totally lost touch with reality. There's that merry-go-round.

7. I tend to like dizzy.
Only when I become nauseatingly dizzy, will I jump off. Dizzy, I like. Nauseated, I cannot handle. I'll give it a little more of a chance and see. I will support the Green Party too any chance I get. Right now, you dance them that brung you. That's an old saying meaning the same as "make the best of what you have."

Add:

3. One-dollar, one-vote campaign finance
4. Corporate media determine "viability"
5. Collusion

This is not a representative democracy. It's a system in which majorities sometimes choose a small number of their sovereigns (whenever the outcome isn't predetermined).
