Palin: Media Portrayal Would Be 'Prettier' If She'd Been Dem VP Candidate
:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

okay, I've stopped laughing long enough to be able to post this. This woman actually thinks she would have a prayer of being a democratic contender

http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=6611536&page=1

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is still fuming over the coverage she received during the presidential campaign and claims that if she were from a different "class" or political party, the her coverage would have much "prettier."

In a Jan. 5 interview with a conservative filmmaker, former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin criticized the "mainstream media" for biased coverage.

In excerpts of a Jan. 5 interview with a conservative filmmaker, Palin unleashed a barrage of criticism at CBS News' Katie Couric, comedian Tina Fey and the media in general.

In the video clip, which is just over nine minutes long, the former vice presidential candidate told John Ziegler, creator of the upcoming documentary "Media Malpractice," that she endured lazy reporting, unequal scrutiny and bias from the "mainstream media."

If she had been a Democrat, Palin said, the media would have "loved" her.

She also appeared to still be angry over reports that she had spent $150,000 of GOP cash on a new wardrobe while she was the party's VP candidate...

(this pic was from her good days)

Have you noticed how dowdy she looks lately? The streaks are fading; there's no one to help make that sweep just so and she has to do her own makeup. Dowdy.
 she thinks she could be a democrat. Oh, that is so rich!

1. The way they loved John Edwards? Good thing he escaped that whole
"whose child is it anyway?" feeding frenzy they hit her with.

Palin is despised because she is a fucking ignorant NUTCASE .... It has nothing to do with 'media bias' - She is a human train wreck who was wrongly selected for a political ticket, and promoted far beyond what her natural station deserved ....

She was 'Josephine the Small Town Mayor' before there ever was a 'Joe the Plumber' ....

Her 15 minutes is WAY over .....

Go away, you fucking whacko ....

How can actually believe that Republicans get *harsher* treatment that Democrats in the press, when we've still got our dumbest, least qualified president ever still sitting in the Oval Office... well, it's beyond me.

5. This is so typical of right wingers
Palin thinks that people dislike her because she is a woman or not of the aristocracy when the truth is that we just dislike her because she is completely stupid and unqualified for the job she was asking for. Furthermore she believes that she is entitled to our respect and acceptance of her without ever doing anything to earn it. Most conservatives hold that view which is why they are so generally disliked by any thinking person.

6. She's sort of right...
Though I'm sure not they way she intended.

If she were the sort of person who could get on a Democratic ticket, she'd probably have more experience, be more intelligent, and not think and do many of the idiotic things that made the press go after her in the first place. In short, if she were a Democratic candidate, she'd have to be a much better candidate (and person) and probably would have gotten better press coverage as a result.

If she was exactly as she is, and somehow, inexplicably, gotten the VP slot on the Democratic ticket, the coverage would have been even worse. Repukes wouldn't have defended her, and most Dems wouldn't have either and would savage Obama for picking her.

10. If Palin had been the Dem VP candidate, McCain would be PE
Who in their right mind could vote for such a poorly qualified candidate for such a high office.

I'd have left the top of the ticket blank.

11. AK newspaper offered to "correct" the Levi dropout story..Palin blinked
and never wrote them back. ALL they asked for was some written documentation/proof that he already had his GED..shouldn't have been a problem, right, Sarah? They were more than willing to write up a correction to the article. So she blinks and then 5 days later bitches that the media is falsely reporting stuff about the drop outs. Leaving out the fact that she could have helped in the "correction".

http://www.andrewhalcro.com/defending_dan

Yesterday, Pat Dougherty the Senior Vice President and Editor of the Anchorage Daily News was a guest on the Mike Porcaro Radio Program. According to Dougherty, Palin sent him an email in December 31, 2008 asking about the Daily News running stories that stated her future son in law was a high school drop out. Palin's implication was that the ADN was being unfair and untruthful.

I took the email very seriously and spent most of my day crafting a response, Dougherty told Porcaro. He said his email reply to Palin stated that they had three stories since September, all from the Associated Press, that said Levi Johnston was a high school drop out.

Dougherty than said he offered to print a retraction/correction if the governor would verify that Johnston was in fact not a high school drop out. According to Dougherty, Palin never replied to the email even though she received it on December 31, 2008, the same day she had sent her original complaint.

On January 5, 2009, five days after ignoring Dougherty's offer to print a retraction about Johnston being a high school dropout, Palin sat for an interview with a film maker doing a documentary on how the media treated conservatives like Palin unfairly during the election.
