1. I don't follow professional sports

I have not given professional sports 1 dime since 1995. Overpriced whiny pros don't need any of my marginal salary.

I am starting to feel the same way about the BCS division of College Football. Money is keeping the only division in NCAA from having a playoff system. Watch Div 1 and Div 2 NCAA football only which is usually only available on line.

2. The Superbowl would be greatly diminshed if the NCAA had a true championship.

But they don't, so the Superbowl is the pinacle of the football season.

3. Used to play in high school, so I like catching the ocassional game.

Truth be told, though, I much prefer college football to the professional league, even if I don't follow it that closely.

which teams are in the "Superbowl" this year. Oh, wait, I just realized that the final championship games probably haven't been played yet. Or have they?
Not having a TV since July has actually improved the quality of my life tremendously.
