I'm working on a concept called the BDA Event System

Tell me what you think of it.

Basically, calamities have occurred because of failures in the BDA phases of something. So, what does BDA mean?

Before - Stop the event before it happens
During - Lessen the effects of the event as it happens or cut it off
After - Make the effects of the event null or prevent it from happening again

Real life examples:

Moral Panics
B - Do not spread information that would help the panic, debunk it early on
D - It must be debunked through television, radio, newspapers, etc.
A - Make a record so that instigators of panics will not be forgotten if they try to do it again

Terrorism
B - Freeze assets, seize tools and weapons, arrest potential terrorists, identify plots
D - First responders, building evacuation
A - Clean up site of attack, catch leaders

House Fire
B - Fireproof house
D - Call 911, evacuate
A - Repair house

Since the Republicans will be pulling out their bag of dirty tricks for the 2008 elections, and since the BDA Event System could be used for just about anything I think, it might be good to try it against their tricks.

1. Basically what they do is bait potential voters by appealing

to their latent racism (immigration issue), sexism (abortion issue) and homophobia (gay marriage). Watch the immigration issue to be a biggie in 2008. Since they are hypocritical about all these issues because they need illegals to work for them, their women need access to safe abortions and they have gays in the family none of these issues will be mentioned much after the election because they are experts at bait and switch.

You are right that we have to expose the hypocrisy from the beginning by pointing out their hypocrisy, for instance Cheney's gay daughter, Jeff Gannon's access to the White House, anytime you can prove that some Republican got abortions for their wives, girlfriends or daughters. Of course all of them have Hispanic maids, nannies and gardeners and most likely most of them are illegal. This is where you need to hit them to fight back.

Then they put a finishing filip with a swiftboat style character assassination of their opponents that is played over and over again in the media. It doesn't matter if it's not true, the damage has been done by the time they must apologize and correct the misinformation.

I do like your plan it's along what I have been thinking.
