Bush: "every day has been joyous"

http://www.cqpolitics.com/wmspage.cfm?docID=news-000003007802

<snip>

QUESTION: So it was never the loneliest office in the world?

BUSH: No, not for me.

We had -- you know, people -- I had a fabulous team around me of highly dedicated, smart, capable people. And we had fun.

I tell people that, you know, some days happy, some days not so happy; every day has been joyous.

And people, you know, they say, “I just don’t believe that to be the case.” Well, it is the case. Even in the darkest moments of Iraq, you know, there was -- and every day, when I was reading the reports about soldiers losing their lives, no question there was a lot of emotion, but also there was times where we could be lighthearted and support each other.

And, you know, I built a team of really capable team who were there not to serve me, or there to serve the Republicans; they were there to serve the country.

5. I heard that remark and it fully explained a lot. He's totally delusional.
Joyous? WTF? I hope he learns the reality of the situation when he's on trial.

I'm sure that "every day was joyous" as well for the 4000 plus famillies of dead soldiers in Iraq
and those displaced by Hurricane Katrina while you were partying with McCain.

his team = Rove, Cheney, Gonzales, Libby, and so on were the most partisian
party hacks in history ... they made the DoJ part of the RNC and the NSA as his
personal spy task force to follow John Kerry and others.

8. Which country dipshit,
"And, you know, I built a team of really capable team who were there not to serve me, or there to serve the Republicans; they were there to serve the country." because they sure as hell didn't serve our country.
