Why don't righties get their doctrine(s) limit personal freedoms far more than ours?

The meme these days from the wingnut crew is filled with freak out language regarding Obama's "Socialist Amerika" - talk runs rampant about government control etc.

In the America I know, the word "liberal" comes from the word liberty. I'll never get how the fundies can rant on, but not acknowledge that they are proponents of infusing their religious doctrine into my government and schools, limiting or forbidding reproductive freedom for women, limiting or forbidding the right for the GLBT to marry, limiting or forbidding habeas corpus challenges to detention in Gitmo, and of course the on-going prosecution of an illegal war despite the disapproval of a majority of Americans.

What form of delusion allows righties to continue to justify that their rethuglican party is more about LIBERTY then the Dems?

1. To them those words only apply to true Americans.

Which are only Americans who think just like them.
