it's clear the asshole in chief is miserable about leaving the White House and miserable about being despised by most of the country. I hope he suffers a long, deep depression.

5. The bigger shock will come when he cannot make any money at all
on the lecture circuit, book sell, or any of it. No one will want to pay, cause he lies so much. And when he is free to talk, he will make a bigger ass of himself because he will no longer have that huge staff to prepare every thought and word that he says.

..He can see Clinton, and Carter doing ok, and he will not be able to talk to any but screened friendly crowds. No one else..

So..more idiotic ideas will come out...we will be gone from him, but his hole will be deeper and deeper.

 I recall the hideous little bastard saying that in an interview. The pResidency has been very good for georgie, financially. He's happy about that, I'm sure.

4. As someone who's dealt with long, deep depression, I wouldn't.
It really is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. Even Bush.

Now, deep regret, self-doubt, and shame... I could live with Bush feeling those for the rest of his life.

6. I too have delt with deep depression, it is very very painful..I will admit
and that there are very few people I could ever wish that on...
.But Bush has caused tens of thousands to go through that hell, because of his direct actions, that caused death and dismemberment to so many,
that maybe he would need to go through it himself..must maybe..??

14. Around 2003,
Bush had people putting out the talking point that he didn't care about popularity. I knew then that this was false. First of all, VP Cheney actually has this personality attribute, which became more entrenched as he became older (I suspect some changes in his personality were due to heath problems). It seemed quite unlikely that both of the two had that same quality.

Instead, it seemed more like a young man trying to ape the qualities he admires in his mentor. More, Bush had identified Reagan as a role model, and the Gipper loved having cheering crowds. Bush had a relative high level of support in the period after 9/11, and he enjoyed being able to rub this in the faces of those who might oppose him in Washington.

A person who is secure in their not caring if others approve of them do not require security to hand-pick the crowds that will hear and respond to their public presentations. More, Bush's competition with the image of his father lends solid evidence that we are dealing with an emotionally needy individual, who demands approval. His only recourse now is to say that at some distant point in the future, people who never knew him may actually approve of him.

I have an image of a man who, while able to ignore the suffering and deaths of those victimized by his violence, will be incarcerated in a prison of his own making. Like Nixon, I think he will be walking the halls at night, talking to ghosts from the past.

27. Really I don't wish him
anything because on his death bed he'll get it all. They say, you know "they" that when you die it's not what you saw as you went by, it's what you did to others and their feelings and their reflections on you and how you made them feel! - not your own but theirs I think that makes sense, I believe that and if you all think about that it is more appropriate.

26. may he meet the fate of many an alcoholic- found frozen in a snow bank.
i don't suppose he will reach quite such a low point with all poppy's money to care for him. i suppose it is more likely he will be found floating in the swimming pool. but i relish the idea of him suffering a fate to which he has likely consigned many a veteran.
i don't think there is a hell, but i am sure that if there is, he will be consigned to it's lowest circle. roast away, you asshole.
