I just had to post this. Finally saw the movie the other day, and it was so good I watched it twice in a row.
What a tremendous screenplay. How articulate, how authentic, what a perfect character arc, and how much mystery remains.
I would have to rank it up there with my other favorite original screenplays of all time. And it was apparently an original screenplay, not based on another source. (?)
Congratulations to this beautiful celebration of a whistleblower.
Anyone who has seen the film, my question is this:
What do you think Michael Clayton's future is? Is he ruined? Broke? Will he go back to compulsive gambling? Will he become like his brother, Timmy?
What will he do?
I know it's "just a movie," but it is haunting me. What is this man's future?
