By the way DUers, who set the tone in Washington
these past eight years...if not George W Bush, Dick Cheney and Karl Rove.

Why did the rhetoric get out of control? Would someone send W a copy of John Dean's Broken Government to bush wrapped in a big shoe.

1. Right! The Dean book nailed it.
In Bush's ridiculous press conference yesterday it became clear right away that even after eight years he still hasn't learned anything at all. He doesn't realize just how turned off people are to the "authoritarian mindset" of him and his Neo-con buddies. It's his attitude that got us into the mess we're in, along with a corresponding lack of situational awareness (again, fueled by an arrogant attitude.) He didn't know how bad things were after Katrina because he had no sense of curiosity. The American people became fed up with that mindset and the damage it has caused. If Bush wants sympathy, he won't find it at my house.
