1. It will be over soon because the press will declare it's over
and we will learn to live with lower expectations.

5. I think with the added involvement by our congress critters
and the leadership we have in the White House this one will be gone before we know it. We'll wake one day, sooner rather than later, and realize that we're well on our way to stopping the bleeding. Honest leadership is what we need and finally we might just have that.

6. I hope you are right...
But, our money is worthless. It just hasn't sunk in to the rest of the world just yet. We are broke. If we have 2 or 3 million more unemployed this year, it will be a difficult hole to climb out of, in my opinion.

9. Never.
It's all downhill for this civilization.

The next civilization will use something other than fossil fuels, and the economic system will be quite a bit more sophisticated than the current market system.

13. I hope in never ends.
In my fantasy world Americans return to the days when spending money was so hard to come by that we all demand high quality and American made products again.

Unfortunately the whole world depends on keeping us buying up cheap chinese crap.

15. It'll last until
NAFTA, CAFTA, WTO, Outsourcing/H-1B's etc., are renegotiated or terminated.

As the long as U.S. citizens have no jobs, there will be no recovery.
