The Final Bushism?
Edited on Tue Jan-13-09 10:13 AM by dem629
For the last couple of weeks I have been wondering what the last official "Bushism" would be. Over the years we have been treated to gems like:

* "I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully."

* "Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country."

* "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?"

* "I remember meeting a mother of a child who was abducted by the North Koreans right here in the Oval Office."

With one week to go, time is running out. http://jefftompkins.blogspot.com/2009/01/final-bushism.html">Could this be it -- the last in a line of thousands of Bushisms?

8. Common term among civil too. First time I heard it I was sitting in on pilot's ground school
for the AS350 Eurocopter and when touring Turbomeca to look at power plants, the instructor referred to our group as 350 drivers. (It probably has it's origins with ex-military guys.)

9. maybe it is used as a slur

certaintly using a helicopter cyclic is no easier than a yoke in other aircraft.

It smacks of unprofessionalism not to use the correct label for controlling specific vehicles.

Its got to be a smear since USAF guys are no dummies.

Locomotive = engineer
Aircraft = pilot

4. I thought the final one
was the made up word from yesterday's do with the press - " misunderestimated"

Our newsreaders in the UK latched onto that in a flash and later analysed exactly when it occured and how it was spoken. They concluded it wasn't an accident - more likely one of his staff had pre-arranged it with him for a laugh.
