Does "discontinued" mean over forever? (Re; Jeff's DUzy awards)

I was gone yesterday when the announcement was made and only found out by going to the greatest page to see the latest awards. I missed the chance to thank Jeff for all of his hard work for so long, so here it is: Thanks! And I hope that either some of his cohorts can pick up the banner, or that "discontinued" means that the DUzy's may be back someday. They were one of my favorite things about DU. Thanks one more time Jeff.
