1. That is part of the problem

The unknowns of Gitmo.

Have they been charged with war crimes?

Have they been charged with military crimes?

Have they been charged with federal crimes?

I say sign up with the International Criminal Court, enter that treaty, and turn them over to the ICC to investigate their alleged wrongs and give them a trial.

If it is discovered that the US did violate their human rights, then the US should have to pay damages. The US needs to suck it up and do what is right.

2. In seven years only two have been tried
Most are not charged and some are not even suspects but witnesses...

3. If associated with terrorism - probably none
Most people rounded up were just vistims of the bounty that was posted by the US. Make false statements about an annoying neighbor, get some cash and watch them get hauled away forever. The problem now, and the Republican criminals know it all too well, is that the once innocent people are most likely NOW sworn enemies of the US and wouldn't mind destroying it. They didn't start that way, Bush just made it that way by locking them up and abusing them for years.
