Huckabee Takes Swipe at Palin
Mike Huckabee (R), a likely Republican presidential candidate in 2012, took a shot at Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), one of his possible rivals, in an Esquire interview.

Said Huckabee: "Now I must say I did not think that either the Charlie Gibson interview or the Katie Couric interviews were unfair. In fact, if anything, Katie Couric was extraordinarily gentle, even helpful. just... I don't know what happened. I can't explain it. It was not a good interview. I'm being charitable."

Palin Reflects
In an interview with Esquire magazine, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) suggests she would do a few things differently if running for vice president again.

Said Palin: "If I were giving advice to myself back on the day my candidacy was announced, I'd say, Tell the campaign that you'll be callin' some of the shots. Don't just assume that they know you well enough to make all your decisions for ya. Let them know that you're the CEO of a state, you're forty-four years old, you've got a lot of great life experience that can be put to good use as a candidate."

She also calls bloggers "pathetic."

7. of course it wasn't a hard hitting interview. It's not Couric's fault that Palin

is so dumb she can't think of a single Supreme Court decision (other than Roe) that she disagreed with or that she couldn't name a single newspaper she reads.

and it just keeps heating up. I think she's taking particular aim at AK Muckracker at The Mudflats, because s/he is really the only "anonymous" blogger around here. Watching Sarah melt down is certainly entertaining, but I do wish she'd get back to the serious business of governing the state.

Here's an interesting little "dust-up" between Sarah and our congressional delegation over Obama's stimulus package. Sarah seems to want to say "Thanks but no thanks" to that federal money, no matter how it might short-change her state.

Sounds like she's going after anyone who ever gave her 'enough rope to hang herself'.

Palin's doing a lot of damage control lately, and by the latest bit by Huckabee, the GOP knows that they're certain to never again see the light of day with Mz Palin reminding us all how stupid the GOP was to allow her voice to be heard in the first place.
They can't shut her up now.
