A boy asks his father: "Dad, what is politics?"
So the father tries to explain:

"Well, consider it kind of like our household. I am capitalism, I make money. Your mother is the government, she sets the rules and decides what to spend the money on. You are the person we take care of, so you are the populace. Our maid is the labor force and our baby is the future."

At night the boy awakens because the baby is crying. He looks and notices that the diapers are full. So he goes and wants to wake up the maid. Arriving at her door he hears his father in her room groaning. So he goes to his parents room to wake his mother but she is sound asleep from sleeping pills. Frustrated he goes back to bed.

Next day at breakfast his father asks: "Hey son, have you thought about what I said about politics? Do you understand it now?"

The son says: "Yes, I think I do. Capitalism fucks the labor force while the government sleeps. The populace is completely ignored and the future is full of shit."
