The razor thin Democratically controlled Senate is it's own thing. At least we proved that when given the power we do the moral and just thing.

29. Unfortunately, razor thin probably isn't enough.

The Repubs will probably refuse cloture, and it's doubtful that we've even got more than 5 of the 10 Rs we'd need to bring it to a vote, let alone more than one Republican vote in favor of passage.

On the bright side, though, the bill got passed by the house, and if we keep doing this with all the funding bills, either the Repubs will be obligated to pass it, or else stop the funding themselves.
