since 215 people who died between 1988 and now from bird strikes, I'd like to know about air safety with union pilots versus non-union pilots.

Or at least, it's pretty damn close.

A flight like the one that ditched in the Hudson could have been covered by a high speed train, and there's already a corridor that extends to Washington, D.C. we should push it further, while reworking the lines to up the speeds to international high speed rail standards. If level crossings are eliminated, there is a chance of a no death system like Japan's Shinkansen. (The only deaths, IIRC are from people who didn't board the train right.)
