Did you see Holder get tied to FISA?
A witness in the Holder Confirmation Hearing was sly as could be. If you think about what she said its kind of absurd but then when you realized what was implied its sort of frightening.

Last night Bush claimed success in protecting the nation. Today the witness says that Holder was responsible for averting some attack or another and that he did it by successfully using information obtained under FISA. She says Hooray for Holder but of course if you're a thinking person you have mixed feelings. First she is giving Obama's Nominee credit for doing what Bush took credit for doing last night. Second she is linking Holder to the use of an illegal program and claiming it protected the nation - how convenient to do that to the man that most of us would like to see pursue investigations of the illegality of that vary program. I'm steaming ...

2. That was the question that first popped into my mind
But I'm not familiar with the would-be attach she cited or when it was supposed to have happened. Like I said, I'm steaming here.

3. FISA, as it was written before Congress recently changed it,
was legal. It still required warrants from a FISA court. I'm sure Holder, unlike Bush/Gonzales, etc. got the warrants and followed the law. Warrantless wiretaps in the Bush administration are the problem.

8. The FISA court affirms the legality of the FISA court - no problem there.
