Can we rename National Airport in DC?
I'm thinking CB Sullenberger National Airport

Having Reagan's name on an airport has always seemed like travesty to me.

2. PLEASE
I still remember hearing a comment about how the Republicans thought it would be nice if the airport was named after a President.

Yes, Republicans thought it would be nice if WASHINGTON National Airport were named after a president.

I still call it Washington National. FUCK Reagan in the eye socket.

3. You think that's bad.
Having Bush's name on an airport, or anything,
is even worse.

I didn't even like it when Idlewild was
renamed Kennedy, even though I loved Kennedy.

It's just that Idlewild is named after the
great amusing author, Washington Irving....

4. While I appreciate that thought..
I don't think Virginia is going to want to turn around and spend millions on having to change the signs again. We're stuck with that fucker for good it seems, along with the Taj MaRonniehal. Do any repukes see the irony in the largest federal building in D.C. being named after a man who hated federal bureaucracy?

15. I didn't know that...
Cool. How long has that been? I think it was about 2000 when I flew in there and it was still BWI. Or it was so late that I didn't even notice.

11. Same here...
It just bugs the hell out of me that after Reagan broke the ATC unions and helped buts the unions at Continental, etc. they named an airport after him. It's a cruel irony.

16. Worse is the "George Bush Center for Intelligence"
aka CIA Headquarters.

Jimmy Carter removed George Bush from his CIA Directorship for not doing enough to fix the Company after the Nixon reign of terror.
