He states at the end of well written article at the Huffington Post...this:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-corn/what-bush-left-out-of-his_b_158381.html

"Ernest Hemingway, I believe, once observed that what one doesn't put on the page is as important as what one does. And what Bush did not discuss in his farewell address also defines his presidency. Here is a partial list:

* Climate change
* China
* Russia
* North Korea
* Iran
* Pakistan
* Osama bin Laden
* Nuclear weapons
* Poverty
* Health insurance
* Foreclosures
* Housing
* Guantanamo
* National debt
* Budget deficit
* Trade deficit
* Wall Street
* Financial regulation
* Dow Jones
* Retirement security
* Social Security
* Medicaid
* Energy
* Immigration
* Automobile industry
* Housing
* Subprime credit
* Wages
* Jobs
* FEMA

"What else is there to say? In the end, after eight long and traumatic years, Bush did not have much to tell us. Who wouldn't rather watch a miracle airplane landing than a failure saying goodbye?"

2. I watched reruns of "3rd Rock from the Sun" instead of Bush.
What little I did see was on Olbermann's show, and I didn't sit still for all of that.

John Lithgow, Jane Curtin, and the rest are certainly more entertaining than Bush's rerun. We've heard it all before, George, and no one cares. No one believes you. You are a proven liar. Now go away quickly, silently, and permanently. Hopefully, we'll see you again when charges are filed.

3. Here's another article about what Bush left out:
SPIN METER: Bush puts his record in best light

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS | January 16, 2009 10:28 AM EST |

In his final speech to the nation, President George W. Bush took pride in his record at home and abroad, describing hopeful events and accomplishments. But what he left unsaid was significant, too.

__

Afghanistan:

Bush said: "Afghanistan has gone from a nation where the Taliban harbored al-Qaida and stoned women in the streets to a young democracy that is fighting terror and encouraging girls to go to school."

He did not say that the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan has forced the U.S. to rush as many as 30,000 more troops there, seeking to turn the tide in fighting that has seen al-Qaida-linked militants and the Taliban make a comeback after initial defeats in the U.S.-led invasion in 2001.

___

Iraq:

Bush said: "Iraq has gone from a brutal dictatorship and a sworn enemy of America to an Arab democracy at the heart of the Middle East and a friend of the United States."

He did not mention that violence in Iraq still persists despite improved security, that Iraq remains gripped by hostility between Shiite and Sunni Muslims, that most Americans think the war was a mistake, and that weapons of mass destruction _ the original rationale for the war _ were never found.
