6. Seeing as how one day they will be it's just a bad call for political purposes.
Edited on Fri Jan-16-09 05:31 PM by YOY
"Sea Kittens" will never grow to be fish...be they in a bowl, river, lake, ocean, or on someone's dinner plate. "Sea kittens" is a nonsensical term meant to change the language for someone's pet issue. They don't have a thing to do with cats save being living creatures let alone being young versions of cats.

Just as "freedom fries" will alway be "french fries" no matter how often those against it rail, "sea kittens" will always be "fish."

Nothing wrong with the word "fish". If that is a problem "ichthyoid" will work.

9. That Friedman cartoon is for a Matt Taibbi review of Friedman's book
The cartoon is on the cover of the current issue of New York Press, a free weekly paper. The issue contains the article, "Flat N All That", by Matt Taibbi, slamming Friedman. You can read it . From the last couple paragraphs:

So, yes, Friedman is suddenly an environmentalist of sorts.

What the fuck else is he going to be? All the other ideas he spent the last ten years humping have been blown to hell.

10. Thanks for the link. Matt Taibbi is relentless in his review.
Remember the "Freidman unit?"
