to inform me, a recognized "Darwinist" here, that the reason why I had an abused child in my room for me to help keep safe is because it is part of God's plan, that my moving to this town was part of God's plan to help keep this one child safe.

And people on this board have problems with Richard Dawkin's atheist ad campaign on buses, for crying out loud.

I can't recommend highly enough Carl Sagan's "The Demon-Haunted World" and Dawkins' "The God Delusion."
