"It's worse than we thought."
Getting ready to hear this over and over as the Obama Administration gets in and finds out how much damage the Boy King has inflected on the White House and our country.

1. That was the first thing out of our governor's mouth
when she took over from 12 years of republican stupid. John Engler left her a $4 billion hole in the budget. They did an audit. They filmed her coming out of the audit with a horrified look on her face. "It's worse than we thought, and it's worse than we were told." Engler had tried to hide the debt with accounting tricks and putting the figures onto the next year's budget.

3. Our Wisconsin Dem. Gov. Jim Doyle, took over after
twelve years too. The former rep. gov. tommy thompson, gave slush fund away to get re-elected to his fourth term. Bush gave him the slot of Dir. of Health and Human services. Our Gov. inherited that plus a rep. legislature. **Republican control of the Legislature after many Progressive Republicans shifted to the Democratic Party during the 1960s. Aided by the Nixon-Era Watergate scandal, Democrats gained majority party status during most of the 1970s and, despite internal strife and scandal, remained in power throughout the 1980s. The election of GOP Gov. Tommy Thompson in 1987, movement to the right on social issues during the Reagan Era, the decline of private sector labor unions, and an increasingly well-organized conservative movement within the Republican Party helped state Republicans regain control of the Assembly after 1995 and the Senate during the first two legislatures of the new millennium. http://wisopinion.com/index.iml?mdl=article.mdl&article=9333
