If anyone is a true heroine of the feminist movement it is Elizabeth. Despite her personal diffuiculties she continues to fight for all women and all people everywhere. Kudos to Ekizabeth ,a "real" heroine.

Chapel Hill, NC -- Elizabeth Edwards is taking her health care advocacy to Florida.

The wife of former presidential candidate John Edwards is scheduled to speak Sunday in Palm Beach, Florida at the Annual Leadership Educational Forum of the American Friends of The Hebrew University. Her luncheon talk is titled "Healthcare in Crisis: Solutions and Remedies."

Edwards is a senior fellow at the think tank Center for American Progress, where she focuses on health care even as she personally battles with cancer.

The Edwards's have been slowly and quietly returning to their advocacy since he admitted last summer to an affair with a woman hired to produce videos of him in 2006.

I met her in North Carolina one night when I was out to dinner with my family. John reminded me of a typical politician, but Elizabeth was such a warm, vibrant, caring person- you could tell she is a good person. A true heroine!
