AOL: "A Fun Look Back at Bush's Presidency." Huh?
Edited on Mon Jan-19-09 08:41 AM by bushmeister0
"President George W. Bush certainly had reason to stay serious during his time in office. Presiding over two wars, confronting the AIDS epidemic in Africa, grappling with the problem of illegal immigration, and facing an economy on the ropes were just a few of the challenges he faced.

But Bush managed to find his share of laughs during his time in office. Flip through this gallery to see some of his more mirthful moments. Then, take our quiz on the Bush presidency and weigh in on what policy areas you think Bush was strongest -- and weakest."

Yes, grappling with two wars he started and facing an economy his polices put on the ropes.

Among the "lighter" moments in the photo gallery are him feeling up Angela Merkel and slapping woman's volleyball ass in Beijing while Georgia and South Ossetia burned.. I wouldn't call any of these lighter moments. Maybe embarrassing moments?

Too bad the good folks at AOL didn't think to transpose the pics of him hugging the Easter Bunny with pics of all the destruction in Iraq he's wrought.

The best part here are the 210 comments on the story . . . a sampling:

"Bush never was in danger from assasination, because the terrorists knew he would destroy America faster than they could."

"I'll smile more the next four years wacthing this knuckle dragger try to get out of all the lies he fed you fools that voted for him."

"A fun look back? Are they kidding? Thats like a story looking at the fun side of Hitler. This is a man who started a neededless war that has killed over a million people. A man who has wrecked our economy and distoryed the American dream for millions here. There is nothing fun about this half wit failure of a man. And for the poll to claim national security as a strong point is a real rub. This is the man who ignored the many warnings and allowed the single largest failure of national security in our nations history. This is the man who pulled our troops from the country that had our attackers for a illegal war with a nation that did not attack us, allow our real enemy to regroup. Sure theres been no attacks here, why come alll the way here when he has brought them our young to them in Iraq."
