http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/01/18/poll.bush.presidency/index.html

As George W. Bush spends his final days in office, a national poll suggests that two-thirds of Americans see his presidency as a failure.

Sixty-eight percent of those questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll released Sunday said that Bush's eight years in the White House were a failure, with 44 percent saying this was because of his personal shortcomings and 22 percent blaming the failure on circumstances beyond his control.

Half of those polled say the United States could be better off today if Al Gore had been elected president in 2000 rather than Bush, with 27 percent saying the country would be worse off if Gore had won. Twenty-two percent say things would be about the same.

Only 3 percent of those questioned say Bush was one of the greatest presidents in the nation's history.

2. That 3% was revised upward since yesterday then, as it was 1% yesterday.
So 3 percent have now joined ranks to management employment. Unions, I can see them starting to breath and take life.

5. I am sure it was rehashed here already
but chris matthews rant on bush after his farewell speech was right on concerning my feeling for his presidentacy. he was a failure because of his personal shortcomings, among them his lack of critical thinking.

7. He is the most stubborn president in history
Almost every president before him, would listen to people. Nixon was stubborn as hell, but even he eventually took people's advice and resigned.

Colbert summed it up: 'He believes on Wednesday, what he believed on Monday. Regardless of what happened on Tuesday. '

9. Bush is so frustrating because he seems to live in a bubble
Look, the guy is not a complete idiot, despite all the jokes. I'm not saying he's smart, but he's probably of average intelligence. Even now, he's convinced he was a terrific president, and it's everyone else that the problem. How does someone get that delusional?
