Okay, seriously folks. Will Bush ever take a trip out of the country
And I'm not talking Paraguay here, or middle-eastern countries that the Bushies have been friendly with. I'm talking more "enlightened" places like England, France, Germany, etc. Do you really think he has a fear that in one of these countries he could be placed under arrest for war crimes? I am really interested in your thoughts. No tin foil hat moments folks, just what you really think.

4. Good points all. But what if he were offered a fee to do something
I know, like what? Maybe make a speech, or endorse a product or something.

5. Yes, but what if there was a fee involved
You know how Dubya talked about "rebuilding the coffers" once he left office.

but hopefully that will change if our Congress has the balls to prosecute this man for his crimes.

7. He hadn't traveled much before '00.
For some reason that didn't matter to the core repug supporters. Probably even an asset in their eyes. :eyes:

But I agree with you. I don't think he'll take any trips to Europe. Being arrested just might be a concern for him and Cheney.

8. I'm not sure he is concerned, at least not yet
I don't think he would be arrested in any of the countries you named unless charges had been raised against him and his cabal by the International War Tribunal in the Hague. Then I believe that it is every signatory country's legal obligation to arrest him. I am still curious what the SS would do in the event someone with clear legal police authority in the country approached him upon arrival and attempted to handcuff him. I know they are charged with protecting him from physical harm but would they draw their weapons and tell the authority to "back off"?

14. Have France or Germany present him with an Award for actions above and beyond
the call of duty during his terms as appointed President. Cheney also. This would include free lodging for the rest of their lives.

17. None of Bushco can go to Europe
Rice, Cheney, Bush, Gonzo, Rove, etc. Rummy had to make a quick exit from Europe just to keep his ass out of hot water.

18. I hope not to England, anyway
8 years of a Special Relationship with a psychopathic idiot is 8 years too long, especially when our 'Socialist' Prime Minister for 7 of those years chose to play Benedict Arnold to his Mad King George!

Keep him away from these shores! The only time I'd want him coming to Europe at all, is if it's to the Hague.

He should reciprocate if Boosh ever travels abroad.
