from August Biden was offered either the VP or Sec of State. Why is this 'major' news given that the convention was in August? Apparently everyone was surprised! :shrug:

basically saying that Hillary's role as Sec of State will be as important as his role.
The effect of the comment is to make the two jobs, in some way, of equal value.

CNN and other tv newses are desperate to build a big deal out of meaningless political BS :* They can talk their heads off about it until it's got the whole country excited but they won't cover the big horrible news a lot of people have no idea is happening.
