VENUS visible the next couple of weeks
The Planet Venus can be seen in the Western Sky at night for awhile longer. Its very bright and has a nice juxtaposition to the Moon. Very nice Springtime night viewing.

1. You can tell the planets because they do not twinkle like stars.
They have a steady light. This makes them easier to spot.

6. It was incredibly wonderful
to get outside for a little while away from all the household noises and sights and just stare up at the sky and see a beautiful sight. Venus and the Moon together were just awesome.

8. A Sky Map for you if you'd like to print for your nightly viewing
The direct link to the .pdf for March 2007 is here. Venus is found along the right edge between about 2:00 and 3:00 - follow the dotted ecliptic line to the right edge, look just above the line. (or do a search on 'venus' using the search function)

I found it at this site and thought some here might enjoy the "visual aid". :D
