Limbaugh: I Fear Obama’s Repeal Of Bush-Era Secrecy Rules ‘Make It Easier’ To Hold Bush To Account
http://thinkprogress.org/2009/01/21/limbaugh-foia-bush/

(snip)

Earlier today, President Obama issued his first set of Executive Orders. One of these orders instructs “federal agencies to handle requests for information from the public and press under the Freedom of Information Act with an eye toward disclosure, not refusal.” The order reportedly returns to “pre-Bush administration policies” regarding FOIA.

In response to the “new standard of openness,” conservative talker Rush Limbaugh said that he fears that the more open FOIA rules will make it easier for Bush to be held to account for any misdeeds he committed as president:

LIMBAUGH: What I’m afraid of is that what Obama did with this executive order is actually make it easier for the media to go get Bush documents. Because you know Pelosi and some of the guys over in congress are talking about war crimes trials and charges and so forth. <…>

What I’m afraid of is what Obama’s done here is made the gathering of the information for this kind of stuff– This is not American. This is not America. This is not what America does. We don’t– This is Banana Republic kind of stuff.

(end snip)

Cry me a river, Bimbo.

3. Banana Republics hold leaders accountable for war crimes? Really?
Funny, I thought leaders in Banana Republics got to commit war crimes -- with impunity...

7. Rush thinks that a more open government is unAmerican, and thinks
that disinformation and secrecy is what a democracy is all about? Really?? How does that logic even compute? (Yes, this is rhetorical).

And Rushbo...please look up the definition of banana republic. It fits Bushco's dreams for America perfectly.

8. Does that idiot even know what a Banana Republic is?
This is EXACTLY what America is! Government FOR the People and BY the people. Now I am not for disclosing information that will pose imminent risk to our people such as troop positions during battle, computer access information that will let hackers nail us, or other such information. Government however, needs to be accessible by the people. If even our elected officials are being stonewalled by the executive branch for no other reason than they don't want to share. THAT is the definition of a dictatorship. Banana Republics are well known for secrecy and the use of dictatorial powers to prevent government misdeeds from being known to the populace.

You see, that is why left leaning journalists and hosts are so much better than the RW nutjobs. Keith and Rachel are educated. They understand about research and knowledge before they speak. All those idiots on the right like Limpballs, and Orally, have little or no education. They take everything that they hear and repeat it a high volume and call it news. Pathetic!

9. Run scared.
You know what's not 'American,' you junkie pedophile?

I'll give you a hint: torturing, spying on citizens illegally, misleading a country into war and all other manner of offenses that I'm in no mood to recount right here.

I saw that Rush Limbaugh has said he hopes President Obama Fails
My Question to the Village Idiot aka Rush Limbaugh) is,

Do you want America to fail?
Do you hope that there are 100’s of millions of people out of work and homeless?
Do you hope that there are terrorist acts in this country that results in hundreds of thousands or millions of people killed?
